Word/Phrase/ and Quote for the week of July 29th

Since I haven’t done it in three weeks or so, I thought I fire off a couple of them this week so it’ll be maybe 3 or 4 this week. I know you missed them.

The words of the week will be distributed on random days (i.e. whenever I think of it). The word of the week is brought to you by the D and the number 2. The phrase of the week is brought to you by the month of Danielle Beth Rogers. WORD OF THE DAY (today’s theme is Words with hidden connections to animals.)- This feature is to expand our vocabulary. croupier · \ KROO-pee-uhr, -pee-ay\ · noun.An attendant at a gaming table at a casino who collects and pays bets, deals the cards, spins the roulette, etc.
Orgin: From French, literally one who sits behind another on horseback, from croup (rump). The term arose because originally such a person stood behind a gambler to offer advice.

Example: Philip thought he had won on the craps table but the croupier kept taking his money away. PHRASE OF THE DAY- This feature is so we stay young, hip, and happening. cellcert • noun A cellcert is a concert transmitted via cell phone. A cellcert happens when a person dials a friend and hold up his or her cell so said friend can enjoy the show.

Example: Rachel and Lauren went to Kix on Beale. I wished they had called me and shared the concert by cellcert.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK- This might be a famous quote, overheard conversation, or something someone said directly. Think US Weekly’s Star’s said page. “What's you name? Danni! How old are you? 2!! Where do you live? Memphis!!! Who's the president? Mommy!!!!" -Danni and Buck talking last night at Danielle’s birthday dinner
